Some Car Insurance Rates Companies That Offer Auto Insurance ...

Why does an insurance company offer car insurance? The obvious reason is that it offers insurance because it wants to do business and earn profit by selling an insurance policy and collecting premium on it. Going by the same logic, it would not like to be in a position where it ends up paying for claims and goes bankrupt. Insurance companies do a lot of study and research before giving out insurance policies. According to such research, they charge heavy premiums from truckers and stunt drivers because these drivers are more likely to be in accidents. The same research has shown that teachers are on an average better drivers than other type of drivers are. As a result they get more discounts than drivers from other professions.

There are some car insurance rates companies that offer auto insurance only to teachers. For example, Horace Mann insurance is an insurance company founded by educators and specifically for educators. The company offers an Educators Advantage program that is tailor made to meet the specific needs of a teacher. If there is a teacher who has comprehensive coverage on his/her vehicle, then no comprehensive deductible applies if the vehicle gets vandalized while on school property or at a school sponsored event. In addition, teachers get special liability coverage for transporting students in their personal vehicle. There are even plans for retired and active teachers. This plan is called Teachers? Insurance Plan.
