A Tribute to Vintage Video Game Maps - How-To Geek

Once upon a time when physical media reigned supreme and gaming geeks the land over pored over gaming magazines for tips and tricks, poster size game maps were a common but beloved gaming treasure. Check out these retro maps for a taste of last century?s video game culture.

These days if you have a physical video game map, it most likely came with some sort of ultra-deluxe collector?s edition of the game. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, however, it was common for games to come with a map in the box or for one of the many gaming magazines?like Nintendo Power, Electronic Gaming Monthly, and Video Game & Computer Entertainment?to include poster-size fold out maps for popular games as their monthly centerfolds.

Over at the NeoGAF gaming forums, forum members pooled their collective map scans to put together a collection of over three dozen official and user-created vintage computer game maps. Hit up the link below to check them all out.
